Associate Analyst - Job Duties (Summary):
- Prepare and file Sales & Use tax returns and payments accurately and timely as required by taxing jurisdictions to ensure all return filing deadlines are achieved
- Should have understanding on state rules and regulations
- Communicate to manager ongoing status and challenges or blockers if any
- Assist internal groups with technical issues and inquiries
- Communicate clearly and concisely and maintain accurate and timely records in systems
- High standards for accuracy to be maintained in line with standard Operating Procedures to avoid causing Penalty and Interest to the client
- Ability to meet the SLA's and ensuring accurate and timely registration
- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement and build efficiency
- Stay abreast of all the updates & trends, support overall production/accuracy goals
- Be open to accept additional responsibilities assigned to meet the deadlines
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Serve as front line contact for external customers by answering emails and client calls
- Ability to adhere and deliver as per timelines of various government authorities as per various data formats
- Working with the team to plan and prepare monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual filings
