Qualifications we seek in you:
- The educational qualification is bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Deep understanding of data center technologies, networking, and virtualization concepts
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
- Proficiency in designing modular, reusable, and scalable automation components
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills in complex multi-platform environments
- Passion for continuous learning, exploring new tools/frameworks, and driving innovation through automation
- Proven experience in automation engineering, DevOps, or systems integration roles, preferably in large-scale or hybrid-cloud environments
- Hands-on expertise with Ansible, StackStorm, Python, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Strong background in workflow automation and event-driven orchestration (experience with n8n, StackStorm, or similar tools preferred)
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as hybrid/cloud-native operations
- Experience using monitoring, alerting, and incident-management tools such as BigPanda, Prometheus, or Grafana
Automation Engineer - Job Duties (Summary):
- Design, build, and implement end-to-end automation workflows using Ansible, StackStorm, Terraform, Python, and other modern orchestration tools to eliminate manual processes and drive efficiency
- Collaborate multi-functionally with cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to develop scalable and resilient automation solutions aligned with business and IT strategy
- Integrate enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, monitoring platforms (e.g., BigPanda), and operational backends to deliver seamless self-service experiences across the organization
- Document and share guidelines, reusable components, and operational runbooks to enable faster adoption and reduce technical debt
