Analyst - Job Duties (Summary):
- Work closely with other members of the retirement team, including actuaries, analysts, and consultants, to support the overall objectives of the team
- Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in the actuarial field, including attending seminars, workshops, and pursuing relevant professional certifications
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in preparing reports and documentation for regulatory bodies
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries of actuarial findings for internal stakeholders, senior management, and clients.
- Clearly communicate complex actuarial concepts and results to non-technical audiences
- Actuarial Calculations: Do actuarial calculations, such as funding update, accounting disclosures, GMP equalization and member queriers
- Use actuarial software and tools to perform actuarial valuations and projections
- Stay updated with the relevant regulations, guidelines, and legislation affecting retirement plans and pension schemes in the UK
