Qualifications we seek in you:
- Bachelor's Degree level in Mechanical/ Electronics/Electrical engineering
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of MRP / Oracle /SAP knowledge will be added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills
Trainee Engineer - Job Duties (Summary):
- Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory
- Conduct daily walks on the floor and the receiving dock to investigate and resolve material receiving issues
- Oracle and Digital Cockpit expert
- Manage Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) to minimize obsolete material.
- Daily Shortage root cause investigation and resolution
- Support material transfers, supplier reviews w/Sourcing
- Overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels, at a minimum
- Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)
- Partner closely with suppliers focusing on: Packaging needs, min/max planning, materials replenishment planning, root-cause problem solving
