Junior QA and Tech support Engineer - Job Duties (Summary):
- Design, develop, and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts based on software requirements, user stories, and technical specifications
- Identify, document, and track defects in the software using bug-tracking tools. Work with development teams to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively affect the existing functionality of the software
- Conduct thorough functional and non-functional tests to ensure software meets functional specifications and performance standards
- Create and maintain user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other technical documentation to assist users and internal teams
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, provide support, and resolve any technical queries or issues. Ensure a positive experience for all clients
- Diagnose and resolve user-reported issues related to software. Provide prompt solutions and assistance to ensure minimal downtime
